My Path to Shamanu

Hi, I’m Michał.

At the age of 39, I realized something that changed everything: I was walking a path that wasn't mine. For years, I functioned in a corporate world that felt less and less like home. I felt I was living out of sync with my own soul, suppressing a passion that had always been there—a passion for music, guitars, and creating something with my own two hands.

Why Shamanu?

The name Shamanu is no accident. To me, it has always been synonymous with transformation. A shaman is someone who guides through a process of change, someone who connects different worlds. For me, that transformation meant leaving a safe but soulless desk behind in favor of the workshop, the scent of genuine leather, and the dense weave of jacquard fabrics.

Shamanu is me. It is my personal journey from "I have to" to "I want to."

Passion in Every Stitch

Every strap you see in this store has passed through my hands. This isn't a mass-production factory. I select materials as if I were choosing them for myself—looking for textures that have character and durability. My goal is for your instrument to gain not just solid support, but a soul and a look that inspires you to play for hours.

When you put on a Shamanu strap, you’re wearing a piece of my story—a story about the courage to start over and do what you love.
